Posted 01/31/08 This is an exciting time to join Botanical Laboratories Inc., an FDA registered and full GMP manufacturer of homeopathic and nutraceutical medicines and nutritional supplements. We are currently seeking a highly motivated, results-oriented, experienced professional with a track record of success for the role of National Sales Manager to operate our Eastern US territory. Job Responsibilities include: - Maintain steady communication with Brokers and Accounts to insure marketing & sales strategies reflect marketing plans.
- Prepare proposals & implement programs to increase market share. Monitor and communicate sales & opportunities to Management Team and Marketing Group to insure maximum sales.
- Prepare annual account plans and monitor to meet annual objectives.
- Forecast monthly and annual shipments for inventory control.
- Collaborate with Marketing Group to customize sales presentations for specific demographic needs & opportunities and review presentations with Broker Reps.
- Assist with any account service issues when required.
- Effectively cover all account & broker responsibilities through controlled use of expenses.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree
- 5 + years of sales experience in consumer products, vitamin/supplement sales experience a plus
- Experience with major retail accounts essential; experience selling internationally or with C-stores a plus
- Experience with Broker Management
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of sales forecasting, advertising budgets, and strong analytical, account management, planning and account development skills
- Experience using IRI or Nielsen data in creating sales story
- Must be willing to travel 50% of the time, extensively in the territory
- Candidates must live in the Eastern US near a major airport. We do not pay for relocation
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Computer proficient in Excel/Word/PowerPoint
